CLEVELAND, Ohio – For the first time in league history, both the MAC Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by VisitMyrtleBeach.com will be televised LIVE in its entirety.  In addition, this will be the first time in conference history that the men’s semifinals & women’s championship game will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network. The 2017 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournament will take place March 8-11 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. 

"For the first time in Mid-American Conference history, all men’s and women’s basketball tournament games from Cleveland will be telecast by one of our television partners," said MAC Commissioner Jon Steinbrecher. "In addition, the games will be available on digital platforms providing multiple ways for fans of MAC basketball to view the tournament., in-person, on television, or on-line. I am appreciative of the efforts of our television partners in facilitating this programming.   This is another step forward in promoting the exceptional students and teams participating in men’s and women’s basketball in the Mid-American Conference."
 
Spectrum Sports & BCSN will begin broadcasting on Wednesday as MAC women’s teams will compete in quarterfinal action. Tip-off of the first game of the session between the No. 1 seed & No. 8/No. 9 seed game winner is at Noon ET with the next three games of the day following 30 minutes after one another. All MAC Women’s quarterfinal action will also be available nationally on ESPN3.
 
Thursday’s MAC men’s quarterfinal games will also air live on Spectrum Sports, BCSN & nationally on ESPN3. The day will begin with the No. 1 seed facing the No. 8/No. 9 seed winner at Noon ET, with the next game of the session between the No. 4 seed and No. 5/No. 12 seed winner to follow 30 minutes after. The evening session will begin with the No. 2 seed taking on the No. 7/No. 10 seed winner at 6:30 p.m. ET, with the No. 3 seed closing out the day with the No. 6/No. 11 winner 30 minutes following.  
 
Friday’s women’s semifinal contests will once again be broadcast live on Spectrum Sports, BCSN & nationally on ESPN3. The first game of the day will begin at 11:00 a.m. ET, with the second game following at 1:30 p.m. ET.
 
As mentioned, Friday’s men’s semifinal match-ups will air nationally on CBS Sports Network for the first time in league history. The first semifinal game will take place at 5:30 p.m. ET, with the last game of the day following at 8:00 p.m. ET. 
 
Championship Saturday will begin with the women’s final at 11:00 a.m. ET in front of a nationally televised audience on CBS Sports Network, while the men’s final will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2/WatchESPN.
