Ball State:
Men's Tennis Puts Up Strong Fight But Loses To Michigan State, 5-2
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (1-4) competed strong against its third Big Ten opponent in three weeks losing to the Michigan State Spartans (3-3) by a score of 5-2 Saturday afternoon in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.The Cardinals fell behind early to the Spartans after losing on courts two and three.  Marko Guzina alongside teammate Patrick Downs fell 6-1 to Billy Shisler and Doug Francken on court two.  The Spartans then clinched the point at the No. 3 position over Nemanja Guzina and Conner Andersen, 6-4. Full Story...

Binghamton:
Men's Tennis Falls at Brown
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Host Brown captured the doubles point and then won five of the six singles matches to defeat visiting Binghamton 6-1 Saturday afternoon at the Pizzitola Sports Center. Freshman Kushaan Nath provided BU's lone point with a three-set win at No. 3.  Full Story...

Buffalo:
Bulls Impressive In Defeat At Nationally-Ranked Cornell
NEW YORK, NY -  The University at Buffalo men's tennis team left it all on the court Saturday as the Bulls hung tough against one of the top teams in the nation before falling 6-1 at #19 Columbia. In singles play, the Bulls won first sets in four of the six matches. The match begun with doubles where Columbia took the point by winning at one and three.  UB's duo of freshman Hao Sheng Koay and junior Vidit Vaghela won at second doubles, 6-4. Full Story...

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Complete Weekend Sweep
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team completed a weekend sweep on Saturday with a pair of wins, downing Wisconsin-Whitewater, 7-0, and Cardinal Strich, 6-1, at Boylan Tennis Center. With the two victories, the Huskies improved to 6-2 on the season. NIU opened the day by downing Wisconsin-Whitewater, 7-0. After claiming all three doubles matches, the Huskies did not lose a set en route to a six-match sweep of the singles. Full Story...

Huskies Outlast Green Bay For 4-3 Win
AURORA, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men's tennis team claimed the doubles point and split the singles matches to earn a 4-3 victory over Green Bay on Friday afternoon at the Vaughn Tennis Center. With the win, the Huskies improve to 4-2 on the season. NIU claimed a pair of 6-4 wins at number two and three to earn the doubles point. Senior Carlos Manzanas and freshman Bor Schweiger Muzar won at number two while junior Louis-Philippe Hamel and junior Tom Hjertonsson were victorious at number three.  Full Story...

Toledo:
Toledo Defeated By Green Bay, 4-3
MILWAUKEE, WI – Toledo dropped a close 4-3 match on Sunday to Green Bay. With the loss, UT falls to 2-5 on the season. The Rockets dominated in the doubles competition. Senior Stjepan Sisko and freshman Thawin Suksathapornclaimed their fourth-straight victory at first doubles (6-1), while sophomores Vince Anzalone and Serjen Olmedo also recorded a win at the No. 3 spot (6-2). Rockets Fall To Marquette, 4-3
MILWAUKEE, WI – Toledo was narrowly defeated by Marquette, 4-3, in a non-conference match up on Friday evening. Toledo jumped ahead of the Golden Eagles by notching the doubles point. Stjepan Sisko and Thawin Suksathaporn battled to a 7-5 victory at No. 1, and Stephen Miller and Omar Espinosa secured a 6-4 win at the No. 2 spot. Full Story...

Western Michigan:
Men's Tennis Earns Road Win At MTSU
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team picked up its first road win of the season Sunday afternoon at Middle Tennessee State, where the Broncos defeated the Blue Raiders 4-3. WMU improved to 4-3 overall, with all three losses coming against Power Five conferences. The Broncos suffered an early deficit, as the Blue Raiders claimed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3. The duo of senior Matt Hamilton/freshman Jannik Opitz improved to 2-0 this season with a 6-4 win at No. 2.  Full Story...

Men's Tennis Falls To Vanderbilt on the Road
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team dropped a nonconference match at Vanderbilt 5-2 Saturday afternoon, as the Commodores came into the match receiving votes in the Oracle/ITA Tennis Top-25 Poll. The Broncos, who are still looking for their first true road win, fall to 3-3 overall with all three losses coming against Power-Five conferences.
