Drake University scored three first-inning runs to take control early, then used the long ball to put the game away, as the Bulldogs downed the Bowling Green State University softball team, 9-1, Saturday morning (Feb. 25). The game, the Falcons' final contest in the Mardi Gras Invitational, was held at Lamson Park.

NORFOLK, VA – The University at Buffalo softball team notched their first win of 2017 on Saturday as the Bulls split their two games at the Spartan Classic. UB defeated Hartford, 6-5, on Saturday morning before falling 4-0 to Norfolk State during the afternoon.
