Zips Win Tenth Straight
AKRON, Ohio – The Zips swept Cleveland State by a 7-0 score to win their 10th straight match on Saturday afternoon at LaTuchie Tennis Center in Stow. Akron improves to 11-2 on the season, while Cleveland State drops to 3-7. In doubles action, all three pairings picked up victories to help clinch the point for the hosts.

Women's Tennis Stays Hot With 6-1 Win
AKRON, Ohio – The Akron women's tennis team won its ninth straight match with a 6-1 win over Duquesne on Friday afternoon at LaTuchie Tennis Center in Stow. With the win, the Zips improve to 10-2 on the year, while the Dukes drop to 7-4. Akron clinched the doubles point courtesy of wins from all three duos: senior Karolina Maksimava/junior Carli Knezevich, junior Ariadna Blinova/junior Sophia Geier and senior Shannon Newnes/freshman Rita Pedroso.

Ball State:
Women's Tennis Wins Third Straight
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team won its third straight match after posting a 5-2 victory over Youngstown State Saturday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. The Cardinals continue to dominate in doubles action as they have all spring after taking the early 1-0 edge over the Penguins. First off the court for Ball State, was the twosome of Isabelle Dohanics and Toni Ormond after posting a 6-3 defeat on court three over Youngstown State's Monique Belovukovic and Dominika Lackova. The point came down to court two where Audrey Berger alongside teammate Julia Sbircea clinched the point after taking a 6-3 decision from the Penguins Sofia Macia and Imaan Hassim.

Falcons Fall At Notre Dame
South Bend, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University tennis team suffered a 6-0 loss to No. 41 Notre Dame Saturday afternoon at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. Notre Dame claimed the doubles point with wins on courts two and three.

Bulls Sweep Binghamton, 7-0
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team swept the visiting Binghamton Bearcats on Saturday afternoon, 7-0. It was the second straight 7-0 sweep for the Bulls in as many matches. The Bulls had no issues in doubles as they dropped just one game combined between their three doubles pairings. The number one team of Tanja Stojanovska and Margarita Kotok and the number three team of Laura Holterbosch and Haley Hollins each came away with 6-0 wins, while the number two squad of Chantal Martinez Blanco and Anna Savchenko won 6-1.

Eagles Fall In 6-1 Decision
FULLERTON, Calif. -- The Eastern Michigan University tennis team completed its spring break trip Friday, Feb. 24, when it traveled to Fullerton, Calif. to square off with California State Fullerton. The Eagles (3-9) dropped the doubles point before grabbing one point in singles from the Titans (9-0) and falling 6-1. Doubles play began with a duo of quick decisions as Marie Mayerova and Andrea Martinovska fell 6-0 at No. 1 before Ani Gogvadze and Maria Paula Riber fell, 6-1, in the No. 2 spot.

Huskies Fall To Marquette, 6-1
MILWAUKEE – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team fell to Marquette, 6-1, at Helfaer Stadium Sunday. The Huskies' (6-4) Michelle Erasmus (Johannesburg, South Africa/Brescia) scored the lone victory for NIU on the day. The Huskie junior posted a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Marquette's Lesley Foe at No. 6 singles.

Women's Tennis Falls To Michigan State
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's tennis team suffered its first home loss of the season as B1G Michigan State defeated the Broncos 6-1 Friday night at West Hills Athletic Club. The Spartans, who improved to an impressive 9-1, took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 to take a 1-0 lead. MSU clinched the match by winning the first four singles matches, but sophomore Melina Lyubomirova earned a comeback win at No.1 for the Broncos. The Bulgaria native defeated Erin Faulkner 2-6, 7-6, 10-4 to improve to 13-8 this season and 7-3 this spring, with all but one match coming at No. 1.
