The Bowling Green State University softball team suffered a pair of setbacks on Thursday (Feb. 23), as the Falcons opened play in the Mardi Gras Invitational in Lafayette, La. BGSU fell to Drake, 4-1, and to No. 16 Louisiana, 14-2 in five innings, at Lamson Park.

TAMPA, Fla. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University softball team gave No. 25 South Florida everything it had Thursday afternoon, Feb. 23, at USF Softball Stadium. The Eagles (3-4) hung with the Bulls (7-3) early, but a three-run third inning provided USF with enough to top EMU, 4-0.
