Akron:
Women's Tennis Wins At Youngstown State
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Akron women's tennis team won their eighth straight match with a 4-3 victory against Youngstown State on Monday afternoon at Boardman Tennis Center.
With the win, the Zips improve to 9-2 on the season, while Youngstown State drops to 4-4. Full Story...

Zips Stay Hot With Pair Of Road Wins
NEWARK, N.J. – The Zips kept things rolling on Saturday with a pair of victories as Akron topped Saint Peter's by a 7-0 score at Yanitelli Center in Jersey City and bested New Jersey Institute of Technology, 4-0 at The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Center in Newark. The Zips now sit at 8-2 on the year and have won seven straight matches. Saint Peter's falls to 1-9 and NJIT is 1-5. Full Story...

Cardinals Best IUPUI, 7-0
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team (7-2) continued its strong start to the spring season on Sunday after handing IUPUI a 7-0 sweep.  Due to the weather, Ball State was able to play their first match outside today at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. Full Story...

Women's Tennis Tops Evansville, 6-1
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State women's tennis team earned a 6-1 dual victory at home Saturday evening over Evansville in the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center.  The win marks the sixth of the season for the Cardinals. The Cardinals took the Aces down in order during the doubles competition. Julia Sbirceaalongside teammate Audrey Berger were the first off the court after taking down Andjela Brguljan and Daria Pentsova by a score of 6-2 at the top position.  The point was then clinched after Toni Ormond and Isabelle Dohanics registered a 6-2 victory at the No. 2 position over Evansville's Chieko Yamada and Theodora Soidatou.  Carmen Blanco and Peyton Gollhofer also won their match over the Purple Aces on the last court. Full Story...

Bowling Green:
Falcons Bounce Back To Beat Cleveland State
Perrysburg, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team defeated the Cleveland State Vikings, 4-3 Sunday afternoon at the Perrysburg Tennis Center. Indianapolis, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University tennis team dropped its match to the University of Indianapolis by a 4-3 decision Saturday afternoon at the UIndy Tennis Center. In doubles, sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash lost a close match to Stephanie Hirsch and Bella Bergman, 9-7. Full Story...

Falcons Successful Against Detroit
Perrysburg, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team improved their record to 3-3 after defeating Detroit, 5-2 Friday afternoon at the Perrysburg Tennis Center. This is the second consecutive win for the Falcons who are now 2-0 at home. The Orange and Brown gained a 1-0 advantage going into singles after picking up doubles wins on courts one and two. Sophomore Paula Comella and freshman Marharita-Sophia Tavpash easily defeated Anna Davydova and Marie Maitrot, 6-1. Full Story...

Buffalo:
Bulls Best Quinnipiac, 7-0
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team snapped a two-match losing skid on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 win over Quinnipiac. The Bulls got out to the quick start by sweeping doubles action as all three matches were won in identical fashion, 6-3. Junior Tanja Stojanovskaand senior Margarita Kotok won first, followed by the number three team of Laura Holterbosch and Hayley Hollins.  The number two duo of Chantal Martinez Blanco and Anna Savchenko completed the sweep. Full Story...

Bulls Fall 6-1 At Syracuse
SYRACUSE, NY - The University at Buffalo women's tennis team went on the road for the first time this spring on Saturday afternoon, but fell 6-1 to ACC foe Syracuse. The Orange won the doubles point by taking wins at one and a 7-5 win at three.  UB's number two team of Anna Savchenko and Chantal Martinez Blanco won again, picking up the 6-3 victory. Full Story...

Eastern Michigan:
Eagles Speed Past Racers, 6-1
YPSILANTI, Mich. – Eastern Michigan University's tennis team defeated the University of Northwestern Ohio Friday afternoon, Feb. 17. The Eagles (3-6) took the doubles point from the NAIA nationally ranked No. 11 Racers (2-3) before winning five of the singles contests on their way to a 6-1 win at the Chippewa Racquet Club. Beginning with doubles, the No. 3 duo of juniors Alejandra Barcelo Almoyna and Anna Veleva cruised to a quick 6-0 decision before junior Ani Gogvadze and redshirt junior Maria Paula Ribero defeated Vladica Djudjevic and Raquel Marques, 6-2, at No. 2 doubles to secure a 1-0 lead for the Green and White.  Full Story...

Women's Tennis Drop 4-3 Decision To Xavier
CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Miami University women’s tennis team fell to the Xavier Musketeers, (4-3), Sunday evening in Cincinnati. Xavier swept the doubles competition. Juniors Nelli Ponomareva and Anastasiia Vasiukhina fell to Cristina DiLorenzo and Lauren Ghidotti, (6-0). Emily Struble and Anzhelika Shapovalova were defeated by Sydney Liggins and Sophia Abelson, (6-2). Senior RedHawk Andreea Badileanu and newcomer Abby Brady dropped their match to Rachel Reichenbach and Lauren Fitz-Randolph, (6-1). Full Story...

HAMILTON, Ohio -- Miami University women’s tennis team opened up its weekend at home with a match against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels. NIU Women's Tennis Falls, 4-3
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University women's tennis team suffered a 4-3 setback to SIUE at the Edwardsville Y Saturday. The Huskies (6-3) won the doubles' point as Meghan Montgomerie and Evelyn Youel and Abbie-Jade Riley and Abigail Dekkinga won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, respectively. Adey Osabuohien and Raven Neely suffered their first doubles loss of season, falling, 6-4. Full Story...

Rockets Close Out 4-3 Over Wright State

Rockets Fall To Cincinnati
TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo women's tennis team faced a tough 7-0 loss to Cincinnati on Friday afternoon at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club. With the loss, UT drops to 3-5 on the season. Junior Colleen O'Brien forced the Bearcat's Kelly Poggensee-Wei to three sets at No. 2 singles, claiming a win in the opening set, 6-2, but then fell, 6-4, 6-4, to drop the match. Full Story...
