COLUMBUS, Ohio – Junior Rachel Stypinski placed in the top two in three events as she captured the first individual all-around title of her collegiate career at Saturday's season-opening quad meet at St. John Arena. The Golden Flashes earned a team score of 192.975 to finish fourth behind No. 22 Ohio State (195.800), No. 11 Michigan (195.725) and Washington (195.175).

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (EMUEagles.com) – After getting off to a slow start last week to open the season, the Eastern Michigan University women's gymnastics team turned in a strong performance today, Jan. 14, at a quad-meet hosted by Illinois. The Eagles finished second of four teams with a team score of 194.725, nearly three points better than the team's score from a week ago.
