BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) Levi Bradley scored all 12 of his points in a game-breaking second-half run and Northern Illinois beat Bowling Green 69-52 on Saturday to win its third straight.
 
Jaylen Key also scored 12 for the Huskies (11-6, 2-1 Mid-American), who outrebounded the Falcons 40-31 for 14 second-chance points.
 
Trailing by six at halftime, the Falcons closed to 39-37 on Demajeo Wiggin's dunk, but Bradley scored 12 points amid a 17-0 run and the Huskies led 56-37 with 7:40 to go and led by as many as 20. The Huskies made six free throws in the final 2:38 and Jon Siu's 3-pointer with 22 seconds left sealed it.
 
Aaric Armstead tied his career best with four of the Huskies' 14 steals.
 
Ismail Ali led Bowling Green (7-10, 1-3) with 16 points, Dylan Frye added 13 and Zack Denny grabbed 11 rebounds.
 
Ball State 92, Buffalo 77

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Tayler Persons scored 17 points and made six assists leading six players into double figures as Ball State walloped Buffalo 92-77 in Mid-American Conference play on Saturday.
 
Ryan Weber and Jeremie Tyler each scored 17 points off the bench for Ball State (11-6, 2-2). Franko House scored 13 while Francis Kiapway and Sean Sellers added 10 each. The Cardinals shot 49 percent from the field (31-63) with nine 3-pointers and were 21-for-26 at the free throw line.
 
David Kadiri led Buffalo (7-10, 1-3) with a career-high 23 points - more than double his previous high score this season. He made 11 of 13 field goals and added 11 rebounds for his first double-double.
 
Nick Perkins, Willie Conner and Blake Hamilton combined for 36 points off the bench for the Bulls. Hamilton with 14 points and nine assists.
 
Western Michigan 92, Kent State 88

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) Tucker Haymond scored a career-high 35 points, Thomas Wilder added 24 and Western Michigan held off Kent State 92-88 on Saturday.
 
The Broncos (6-10, 1-2 Mid-American) had a 13-point lead midway through the second half before the Golden Flashes (9-8, 1-3) battled back.
 
A 3-pointer from Mitch Peterson cut the deficit to 76-74 with 4:43 left. Western Michigan worked the lead back to eight with 1:27 left but a layup by Jimmy Hall made it 86-84 with 27 seconds remaining. Haymond then made two free throws as did Wilder after a rebound with 11.9 to play. Hammond sank the clincher from the line at 2.7 seconds.
 
Haymond had four 3-pointers and was 12 of 18 overall as the Broncos shot 54 percent.
Kent State shot 75 percent in the second half and 62 percent (33 of 53) overall. Hall had 24 points and 10 rebounds, Jaylin Walker had 17 points and Deon Edwin 16. The Golden Flashes, who average 18 offensive boards, had three in the first five minutes but just one after that.
 
Akron 74, Miami 70

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) Kwan Cheatham Jr. scored 14 points and blocked a key shot in the final seconds, and Akron beat Miami (Ohio) 74-70 on Saturday for its seventh straight win.
 
Michael Weathers made a pair of free throws to pull Miami to 73-70 with 21 seconds left. Logan McLane then forced a turnover, and had a chance to move the RedHawks within one, but Cheatham blocked his layup attempt with 10 seconds to go. Antino Jackson split a pair of free throws to seal it for the Zips (14-3, 4-0 Mid-American Conference).
 
Daniel Utomi made five 3-pointers and finished with 15 points for Akron.
 
McLane scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Miami (8-9, 1-3). Michael Weathers and Abdoulaye Harouna added 12 points apiece.
 
The game was tied at 66 with 2:25 remaining. Isaiah Johnson scored four points and Noah Robotham split a pair of free throws and the Zips led 71-66 with 1:23 left.
 
Eastern Michigan 53, Ohio 49

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) Ty Toney scored 17 points, including three 3-pointers, and Eastern Michigan slipped past Ohio for a 53-49 win Saturday.
 
Eastern Michigan (11-6, 3-1 Mid-American) trailed by seven at the break but tied the game at 37 midway through the second half with a 7-0 spurt capped by James Thompson's layup. The teams knotted again at 41, 46 and 48 before Toney got a layup to put Eastern Michigan on top for good, 50-49, with 3:44 left.
 
Tim Bond sealed it with a 3-pointer with 10 seconds to go. Ohio's Jaaron Simmons missed a 3 at the other end and the Bobcats rebounded but didn't get another shot off before the buzzer.
 
Bond finished with 13 points and James Thompson IV had 11 for the Eagles.
 
Ohio (11-4, 3-1) got 14 points and 11 rebounds from Jason Carter, his first career double-double. Jordan Dartis added 12 points and Kenny Kaminski had 10.
