Binghamton:
Men's Tennis Edged By Bryant In Opener
VERONA, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis (0-1) opened its spring season with a 4-3 setback against Bryant Sunday afternoon at Sportsplex at Turnstone Resort. The Bulldogs took the doubles point with a tiebreak win at No. 1 before the teams split the six singles matches. Western Michigan:
Men's Tennis Opens Spring Perfect, Downing UIC & Detroit
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team pushed its home winning streak to 27 matches as the Broncos defeated both UIC and Detroit Sunday at West Hills. Head coach Dave Morin tied Jack Vredevelt for the most wins in WMU men's tennis history at 348, as the Broncos started the Spring season off to a perfect 2-0.  

The Broncos first downed UIC 7-0, winning every doubles match and every singles match without losing a set. Freshman Kennosuke Nouchi, junior Maik Steiner, senior Matt Hamilton, freshman Jannik Opitz, sophomore Matej Svjetlicic and senior Daniel Loebel all earned wins in singles play. In the second match, WMU topped Detroit 6-1, winning every match besides No. 2 singles. Opitz and Loebel each pushed their winning streak's to four and Opitz also improved to a team-best 13-1 this season. Full Story...
