Sixty-Four Zips’ Student-Athletes Graduate

Ball State:
More Than 70 Ball State Student-Athletes Set to Graduate

MUNCIE, Ind. – The spring semester comes to a close this Saturday on the Ball State University quad with the annual Spring Commencement ceremonies. Seventy-one student-athletes are expected to receive their Ball State University bachelor’s degree this weekend or later this summer. Bowling Green:
Falcons Witness 49 Student-Athletes Participate In Spring Commencement Ceremony

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Nearly 50 student-athletes graduated from Bowling Green over the weekend, including former football player Chris Jones. Jones, the 2012 Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year, is currently a member of the Miami Dolphins and won a Super Bowl following the 2014 season with the New England Patriots. Jones started 12 games that season, recording 25 tackles. During his three-year NFL career, Jones has 79 career tackles despite missing the entire 2015 season with an injury.  Full Story...

Northern Illinois:
Huskies Graduates Include 58 Students With Degrees In 24 Majors


DeKALB, Ill. – Fifty-eight current and former Northern Illinois University student-athletes were added to the ranks of NIU alumni this weekend as commencement ceremonies for spring and summer graduates were held at the NIU Convocation Center. The student-athletes earned their degrees in 24 different majors represented by five different colleges on the DeKalb campus. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences boasted the most Huskie graduates (25), following by the College of Business (16), Health and Human Sciences (8), Engineering (5) and Education (4). Fifty-Four Rocket Student-Athletes Graduated This Spring

TOLEDO, OH – A total of 54 student-athletes donned their caps and gowns for the University of Toledo commencement ceremonies in Savage Arena last Saturday. Of the 54, 40 student-athletes have completed their requirements for a bachelor's degree, while 14 others earned the right to walk in the ceremony and will complete their graduation requirements this summer with an additional class or internship.  Full Story...
