Zips Drop 5-2 Decision To Miami
HAMILTON, Ohio — The University of Akron women's tennis team gave up a 5-2 decision to Miami (Ohio) in Mid-American Conference play on Sunday afternoon indoors at the Riverside Athletic Club. With the loss, Akron fell to 13-9 overall and 3-3 in conference action while the Redhawks improved to 8-9 on the season and 3-1 in the MAC.

Women's Tennis Falls 4-3 To Ball State
AKRON, Ohio — After starting off strong in doubles action, The University of Akron women's tennis was unable to seal the win, dropping a tight 4-3 decision to league-leading Ball State Friday afternoon at the LaTuchie Tennis Center. Akron (13-8, 3-2 MAC) took the doubles point over Ball State (18-2 overall, 5-0 MAC) with victories at the first and second flights.

Women's Tennis Falls To Buffalo, 4-3
BUFFALO, NY - The Ball State women's tennis team suffered a close 4-3 road loss at Buffalo Sunday afternoon despite winning the doubles point. With the loss, the Cardinals dropped to 18-3 overall and 5-1 in Mid-American Conference action while the Bulls improved to 11-6 for the year and 3-2 in league action.

Cardinals Set Program Record For Single Season Wins
AKRON, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team remainded undefeated in Mid-American Conference action after pulling off a 4-3 road win at Akron Friday afternoon at the LaTuchie Tennis Center. With the win, the Cardinals break the program record for most wins in a season and improved to 18-2 overall and 5-0 in MAC play. Ball State also extended its win streak to 15.

Bulls Take Down Ball State, 4-3
WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team handed Ball State its first Mid-American Conference loss of the season as the Bulls came back for a 4-3 win on Sunday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center. The victory snapped a 15-match winning streak for Ball State and it improved the Bulls to 11-6 and 3-2 in the MAC.

Women's Tennis Drops 5-2 Decision To Miami
HAMILTON, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team dropped a road contest at Miami (OH) on Friday afternoon, 5-2. The loss evens UB's record to 2-2 in the MAC and 10-6 overall. The RedHawks took a tightly contested doubles point, which came down to the match at second doubles. After a Miami (OH) win at three, UB's duo of Tanja Stojanovska and Dayana Agasieva won at first doubles 6-4, but the RedHawks won at second doubles, 7-5.

Women's Tennis Snaps Skid With Win Over Bowling Green
PERRYSBURG, Ohio -- The Eastern Michigan University tennis team snapped a four-match losing skid Sunday afternoon, April 10, by defeating Bowling Green State University, 4-3. After taking the doubles point, the Eagles (4-14, 1-4 MAC) snagged three singles wins defeat the Falcons (2-15, 0-4 MAC) for their first Mid-American Conference victory of the 2016 season.

HAMILTON, Ohio -- Despite losses at its top two positions, Miami University's women's tennis team continued its winning momentum in Mid-American Conference play, topping the University of Akron, 5-2, Sunday morning at the Riverside Athletic Club. The RedHawks (8-9, 3-1 MAC) used a doubles sweep and five consecutive singles wins to put away the Zips (13-9, 3-3 MAC) and extend their winning streak to three.

Women's Tennis Falls At Toledo, 6-1
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Northern Illinois University women’s tennis team was defeated 6-1 by Toledo on Friday afternoon in Mid-American Conference action at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Toledo. The Huskies (6-10, 1-3 MAC) couldn’t knock off the Rockets (8-10, 2-3 MAC) as the home team won in the series for the third consecutive season. Toledo took the doubles point and continued that momentum to finish with five wins in singles as well.

Rockets Defeat Northern Illinois, 6-1
TOLEDO, OH – Toledo defeated Northern Illinois, 6-1, on Friday afternoon at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club. The Rockets improve to 8-10 on the season and 2-3 in the conference. Toledo secured the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. Emily Mazzola and Sidnay Huckclaimed a 6-2 victory at first doubles. Lauren Thai and Megan Miller posted a 6-3 win at No. 2.

TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Western Michigan women's tennis team has now won five straight and nine of its last 11 matches with a 5-2 win over Toledo Sunday afternoon on the road.
