Zips Top Buffalo, 4-3
AKRON, Ohio — The University of Akron women's tennis team closed out the home portion of its regular season with a 4-3 Senior Day win over Buffalo in Mid-American Conference play on Saturday at the Outdoor Tennis Facility. The Zips improved to 14-9 overall and 4-3 in the MAC, while the Bulls fell to 12-7 overall and 4-3 in the league.

Ball State:
Cardinals Earn 6-1 Win Over Falcons
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Ball State women's tennis team continues to dominate in Mid-American Conference action with its 6-1 win at Bowling Green Sunday afternoon at Keefe Courts. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 19-3 overall which is a program record and 6-1 in league action.

Women's Tennis Drops 6-1 Decision To Ball State
Bowling Green, Ohio – BGSU freshman Paula Comella added her name to the record books after picking up her 22nd singles victory of the year Sunday afternoon against Ball State's Peyton Gollhofer. With her 22nd win, Comella now ranks 27th in school history and is the seventh Falcon to earn 22 wins in a single season. The Bowling Green State University tennis team, though, fell 6-1 to Ball State at Keefe Courts on the campus of Bowling Green.

Falcons Fall At Miami, 6-1
Oxford, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis team fell to Miami, 6-1, Friday afternoon at the Hepburn Varsity Tennis Courts in Oxford, Ohio. Miami grabbed the doubles point to start the match, with victories at the No. 2 and No.3 positions. BGSU's senior Drew Fillis and freshman Paula Comella teamed up for a doubles win downing the RedHawks' Badileanu and Shapovalova, 6-3 at the No. 1 spot.

Buffalo:
Bulls Fall At Akron, 4-3
AKRON, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team had its two-match winning streak snapped on Saturday morning with a narrow 4-3 loss at Akron. The Zips took the doubles point with wins at first and third doubles as they staked themselves out to the early 1-0 lead. The teams were able to split the six singles matchups beginning with a win at fourth singles as junior Laura Holterbosch claimed a 6-2, 6-3 win.

Women's Tennis Takes Down NIU, 5-2
TOLEDO, OH – The University at Buffalo women's tennis team won their second straight MAC contest on Friday afternoon as the Bulls defeated Northern Illinois, 5-2. The match was played in Toledo, OH. With the win, UB improves to 12-6 and 4-2 in conference play. The Bulls claimed the early doubles point picking up a victory first a third doubles as Laura Holterbosch and Christine Haraldson came away with an easy 6-1 win. The Bulls then clinched the point with a win at first doubles as Tanja Stojanovska and Dayana Agasieva, the reigning MAC Doubles Team of the Week, won 6-3.

Women's Tennis Falls At Miami
OXFORD, Ohio -- Eastern Michigan University's tennis team traveled to Oxford, Ohio Sunday, April 17, to square off with the reigning Mid-American Conference Champion, Miami University. The Eagles (4-16, 1-6 MAC) dropped the match, 6-1, as the RedHawks (10-9, 5-1 MAC) swept singles play.

Eagles Drop 4-3 Decision
YPSILANTI, Mich. – The Eastern Michigan University tennis team welcomed the University of Toledo to the Claudia Wasik Tennis Complex Friday, April 15, for the Green and White's final home match of the 2016 campaign. The Eagles (4-15, 1-5 MAC) fell, 4-3, in a hard fought Mid-American Conference battle where four-of-six singles matches went three sets. Despite winning the doubles point, EMU was unable to withstand the Rockets (9-11, 3-4 MAC) offense in singles. The match served as EMU's Senior Day where the lone senior, Klara Supejova was honored for her four-year career in Ypsilanti.

RedHawks Top Eagles In Home Finale, 6-1
OXFORD, Ohio -- After dropping the doubles point, Miami University's women's tennis team rebounded with a singles sweep, leading to a 6-1 victory over Eastern Michigan University Sunday afternoon at the Hepburn Varsity Tennis Courts. Miami (10-9, 5-1 MAC) returned to a winning record for the first time since February with the win over the Eagles (4-16, 1-6 MAC).

Women's Tennis Tops Bowling Green, 6-1
OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University's women's tennis team returned to .500 with a 6-1 victory over Bowling Green Friday afternoon at the Hepburn Varsity Tennis Courts. An impressive performance by the RedHawks' (9-9, 4-1 MAC) backcourt players helped seal a solid victory over the Falcons (2-16, 0-5 MAC). In doubles, the RedHawks quickly picked up a win as sophomore Nelli Ponomareva and freshman Emily Struble took down Antonina Farrar and Emily Witt, 6-2, at No. 3 position. Miami would clinch the opening point with a second-flight victory, as senior Ana Rajkovic and sophomore Hannah Shteyn topped Leeah Floyd and Polina Radeva, 6-1. After the point was clinched, Bowling Green would get a win at No. 1 position.

Women's Tennis Defeats Eastern Michigan, 4-3
Ypsilanti, MI – Toledo spoiled Eastern Michigan's senior day with a 4-3 victory over the Eagles. The Rockets improve to 9-11 overall and 3-4 in the conference. Eastern Michigan jumped into a 1-0 lead by securing the doubles point. Sophomore Sidnay Huck was the first Rocket to put Toledo on the board. Huck defeated Klara Supejova in straight sets at first singles, 6-3, 6-4.

Broncos Defeat Huskies, 6-1
KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan women's tennis team defeated Northern Ilinois 6-1 Saturday afternoon at Sorenson Courts. The Broncos move to 17-5 overall and 6-1 in the Mid-American Conference. WMU has won six straight matches and are a perfect 10-0 at home.
