Mid-American Conference

 
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its 2016 Men’s Indoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC team on Monday.
 
A total of 44 student-athletes were named to this year’s team with Eastern Michigan leading the conference, having 17 student-athletes receive recognition.
 
Buffalo’s John McCarthy (Biology) and EMU’s John Knox (Aviation) each registered perfect 4.0 grade point averages.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
