Johnny Watts finished runner-up at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate. The sophomore posted a 54-hole total of 1-over par 214 (69-74-71), finishing one shot out of first place on the No. 8 course at Pinehurst. Watts was among the top three on the leaderboard at the end of each round. He led the field in par-4 scoring (-1) and birdies (11) for the tournament. His opening-round 69 tied for the lowest for the week by any player. The second-place finish was Watts’ third top-10 performance this season.

Junior / Hilliard, Ohio
Joo-Young Lee closed the Lamkin San Diego Classic tied for 23rd, competing against four top-50 teams and 10 individuals ranked in the top-100 including No. 1 Beau Hossler of Texas. The junior posted his third-lowest tournament score of the season with a 223 to record his fourth top-25 finish of the season. Lee posted 34 pars and seven birdies in the round.
