Ball State:
Cardinals Fall On The Road At Xavier

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Ball State men's tennis team fell 5-2 at Big East foe Xavier Saturday night at the Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club. With the loss, Ball State drops to 2-4 on the season while Xavier improves to 4-1 in spring action.  Four of the Cardinals last five matches have been from the Big East and the Big Ten.  Ball State recently competed against back-to-back ranked opponents, at Indiana and Notre Dame last week.  Full Story...

Binghamton:
Bearcats Drop 6-1 Match To William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Host William & Mary (6-2) took the doubles point and then won five of six singles matches to defeat Binghamton men's tennis (4-4) 6-1 Saturday morning at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center.  For the second straight day, BU won the first match off the court - this time at No. 1 doubles where senior Eliott Hureau paired with freshman Ludovico Cestarollo for a decisive 6-0 win. Men's Tennis Falls 6-1 At VCU

RICHMOND, Va. - Binghamton men's tennis (4-3) won the first match of the day at No. 1 doubles before host VCU (8-1) took control and posted a 6-1 win over the Bearcats Friday afternoon at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.  The Rams won the clinching doubles match at No. 3 to take an early 1-0 lead. Down 2-0, BU grabbed a point when senior No. 1 Sid Hazarika posted a 6-3, 6-4 win over Michal Voscek. But VCU pulled out a pair of three-set matches at second and fourth singles and wound up winning five of the six singles contests.  Full Story...

Men's Tennis Downs Cleveland State, 5-2

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team picked up its fifth-straight victory, and completed a perfect 3-0 weekend, with a 5-2 win over Cleveland State on Sunday afternoon at Boylan Tennis Center. With the win, the Huskies improved to 8-3 on the season.  Full Story...

Huskies Sweep Illinois State and Nebraska-Omaha

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team picked up a pair of wins on Friday, knocking off Illinois State, 4-3, and Nebraska Omaha, 7-0, at Boylan Tennis Center as the Huskies improved to 7-3 on the season.  In the opening match of the day against the Redbirds, NIU fell behind after doubles play as junior Carlos Manzanas (Madrid, Spain/IES Principe Felipe) and sophomore Austin Russell (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield South) picked up the lone doubles win for the Huskies, 7-5, at number one.  Full Story...

Toledo:
Men's Tennis Finish Weekend With 3-0 Mark At Home

TOLEDO, OH – Toledo men's tennis closed out the weekend with a perfect 3-0 record at home. The Rockets first downed Aquinas College 7-0 before defeating Wayne State 6-1. Toledo improved its record to 5-5 on the season. The Rockets claimed the doubles point in two matches, causing the third to go unfinished.  Vince Anzalone and Reid Teatsorth each recorded a two-set victory in No. 2 and 5 singles, respectively. Anzalone defeated Gunnar Peery 6-2, 6-2 and Teatsorth downed Chase Peery 6-2, 6-3.  Full Story...

Rockets Win 4-3 At Detroit

TOLEDO, OH - Toledo men's tennis slipped by with a 4-3 home victory over Detroit on Friday evening. The Rockets improve to a record of 3-5, while Detroit falls to 2-6. Toledo began the night with a clean sweep in doubles. Stjepan Sisko and Luka Vitosevic won a quick match, 6-1, at the No. 1 spot, while Omar Espinosa and Juan Carranza soon followed with a 6-2 victory at No. 2. Freshmen tag team Serjen Olmedo and Vince Anzalone were about to come away with a victory of their own before the refs called it quits. Western Michigan:
Broncos Down Chicago State and Ferris State


KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team earned its second straight doubleheader sweep to improve to 8-3 this season and extend its winning streak to four matches. The Broncos, who are a perfect 6-0 at home this season, beat Chicago State 7-0 before topping Ferris State 6-1 on Monday afternoon at West Hills.  Full Story...

Men's Tennis Earns Wins Over Detroit and Wayne State

KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team was dominant in its wins over Detroit and Wayne State on Sunday afternoon. First the Broncos downed the Titans 6-1 and later shutout the Warriors 7-0.  WMU improved to 6-3 overall this season and snapped a brief three-match losing streak that included losses against a pair of nationally-ranked teams in No. 62 Iowa and No. 39 Drake. Full Story:
