Postgame Notes
CHICAGO, Ill. -- Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside threw for 286 yards and three touchdowns, and Kareem Hunt rushed for 122 yards to lead Toledo to a 31-24 come-from-behind victory over Northern Illinois at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago Wednesday night. The Rockets trailed at halftime, 14-3, but outscored the Huskies, 28-10, in the final 30 minutes.

The victory was critical for Toledo (8-2, 5-1 MAC), which helped it remain a game behind Western Michigan in the West Division standings of the Mid-American Conference. It also snapped a six-game losing streak to NIU (3-7, 3-3 MAC), with many of those losses knocking UT out of the hunt for a MAC title. Woodside, who leads the nation with 37 TD passes, completed 23-of-33 passes on the night. Two of his scoring strikes were to tight end Michael Roberts, who leads the Rockets with 11 TD receptions on the season. Hunt's 122 yards gives him 1,076 for the season, the second time he has cracked the 1,000-yard mark in his career.  Full Story...
