Although Miami loses their three top scorers from a year ago, the RedHawks return six letterwinners and three starters to join a group of seven talented newcomers.
Among those returning are junior Rod Mills Jr. (5.3 ppg., 2.5 rpg.), Dion Wade (4.2 ppg., 3.8 rpg.) & Abdoulaye Harouna (5.4 ppg., 1.8 rpg.). Miami made it to the quarterfinals with a 49-47 win over Ball State before they got downed 94-81 by the eventual MAC champion Buffalo Bulls last season.
Miami opens the season against Muskingum on Nov. 11 at 1 p.m. It will be Heroes and Community Day as the RedHawks honor members of the military and first responders.
