ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio football team (4-2, 2-0 MAC) held on to beat Mid-American Conference East Division rival Bowling Green (1-5, 0-2 MAC) 30-24. With the win, the Bobcats' defeated the Falcons for the first time since 2011. Ohio quarterback Greg Windham was 20-for-27 passing for 198 yards and added nine carries for 43 yards and one touchdown.  Full Story...

AKRON, Ohio -- On Homecoming weekend, the Akron alumni witnessed the Zips' dominating performance against Miami for a 35-13 win to remain undefeated in Mid-American Conference play on Saturday afternoon at InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field. It was the Zips' sixth consecutive conference win, and Akron's longest league winning streak since joining the MAC in 1992. The Zips moved to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in MAC play, while Miami fell to 0-6 on the season and 0-2 in league contests. Full Story...

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Toledo junior quarterback Logan Woodside threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns to lead Toledo to a 35-20 victory over a stubborn Eastern Michigan squad in Ypsilanti on Saturday. The final outcome was not settled until Woodside connected with Corey Jones in the corner of the end zone from 12 yards out with 2:37 to play. A DeJuan Rogers' interception on the ensuing drive eliminated any hopes of an Eagle comeback.  Full Story...

PLEASANT, Mich. -- (AP) Cooper Rush threw for 269 yards and one touchdown, and Central Michigan held on to beat Ball State 24-21 on Saturday.  Riley Neal led the Cardinals to the Chippewas 29 with 1:43 remaining, but threw an interception to Amari Coleman in the end zone to end the drive. On the ensuing series, Devon Spalding ran 52 yards on a second-and-4, and then Central Michigan (4-2, 1-1 Mid-American) ran out the clock.  Full Story...

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Kent State quarterback Nick Holley ran for 224 yards and scored four rushing touchdowns while helping Kent State roll to a 44-20 win over the University at Buffalo on Saturday at UB Stadium. Making just his second start at quarterback for the Golden Flashes, Holley delivered a strong hint at what was to come when he raced 65 yards on the game's opening play. KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Western Michigan senior wide receiver Corey Davis and junior running back Jarvion Franklin each put on a show Saturday night as Western Michigan improved to 6-0 and are already bowl eligible in front of a near-capacity 28,042 homecoming crowd, defeating Northern Illinois 45-30 at Waldo Stadium. Western Michigan's 6-0 start is its best record since going 8-0 in 1941.
