Western Michigan senior quarterback Zach Terrell was 18-of-24 pasing for 327 yards and four total touchdowns in No. 25 Western Michigan’s 45-30 win over Northern Illinois on Saturday, to give the Broncos their first 6-0 start since 1941. Terrell had three passing touchdowns along with a rushing touchdown in which he put a spin move on the defender to go up 45-30 in the fourth quarter.
For the season Terrell is third in the country in quarterback efficiency with a mark of 186.9. He has 15 touchdowns and zero interceptions. For his career, Terrell is third among active quarterbacks with 9,961 passing yards, just 39 away from being the third player in Western Michigan history to eclipse the 10,000-yard mark.
