Ball State:
Cardinals Defeat Detroit In Doubleheader Action

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Ball State men's tennis team split its doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the Michigan State Indoor Tennis Facility.  The Cardinals fell 4-3 to Michigan State in the first match then closed the day with a 5-2 victory over Detroit Mercy.  The Cardinals are now 2-1 on the season while the Spartans improve to 4-2 and the Titans fall to 1-3 overall.  Full Story...

Binghamton:
Bearcats Blank Bucknell, 7-0

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis (4-0) captured the opening doubles point and then roared to wins at all six singles matches to blank Bucknell 7-0 Saturday night at the Binghamton Tennis Center. Senior Eliott Hureau paired with freshman Valentin Bouchet for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles and then Hureau rolled to a 6-3, 6-1 triumph at No. 1 singles. He raised his singles record to 11-5 this season. Bouchet was the first off the singles court after posting a 6-3, 6-2 win at third singles. He is a team-best 12-2 this season.  Full Story...

Buffalo:
Buffalo Completes Weekend 3-0 with Win Over Boston College


NEW HAVEN, CT - With their 4-3 win over Boston College, the UB men's tennis team finished the weekend with a 3-0 record after defeating Yale and Monmouth on Saturday. Four of the six singles matches went to a third set before they were able to clinch the victory. Artur Culicovschi was victorious in the deciding singles match, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4. He won the final game of the third set without giving up a point to his opponent.  Full Story...

Bulls Get Historic Win At Yale

BUFFALO, NY - The Bulls started their three-match weekend trip to Yale with a 4-3 win over the hosts. After winning the doubles point, UB won three singles matches to defeat Yale for the first time in program history and an Ivy League opponent for the second-straight week.  Pablo Alvarez and Amar Hromic won 6-3 in No. 1 doubles, while Sergio Arevalillo and Ethan Nittolo won their doubles match, 6-4, to secure the doubles point for the Bulls. Alvarez continued his strong start of the Spring season with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Yale's Doehler.  Full Story...

NIU Claims 5-2 Win Over Eastern Illinois

DEKALB, Ill. -- The Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team dropped just 12 total games in its four singles match wins as the Huskies improved to 3-2 on the season with a 5-2 victory over Eastern Illinois on Saturday afternoon at Chick Evans Field House. NIU won the doubles points and the singles matches at three through six as the Huskies improved to a perfect 3-0 at Chick Evans Field House.  Full Story...

Huskies Fall To UIC, 4-3

AURORA, Ill. – Sophomores Tom Hjertonsson (Gothenburg, Sweden/Akademi Båstad Gymnasium) and Georg Lundkvist (Linkoping, Sweden/Lindkopings Kommun) each moved to 4-0 in singles play this year, but the Northern Illinois University men’s tennis team fell to UIC, 4-3, on Friday afternoon at Vaughn Tennis Center.   Full Story...

Toledo:
Toledo Splits Sunday Matches With Green Bay and IUPUI


TOLEDO, OH – Toledo men's tennis split their matches on Sunday afternoon, falling to Green Bay 5-2, before defeating IUPUI 5-2. The Rockets improve to a record of 2-5 after completing their three-match homestand. UT started the day battling the Green Bay Phoenix (4-2). Green Bay jumped ahead by gaining the doubles point. The Phoenix notched No. 1 and 3 doubles, forcing the No. 2 match to go unfinished.  Full Story...

Rockets Claim First Victory Of The Season

TOLEDO, OH - Toledo men's tennis recorded its first victory of the season against Youngstown State on Saturday afternoon. With the 4-3 win, the Rockets improve to 1-4 on the season, while YSU drops to a record of 1-2.  The Penguins notched the doubles point, winning two of the three matches. Freshmen duo Vince Anzaloneand Serjen Olmedo recorded the only UT doubles victory beating a YSU pair 6-2.  Full Story...

Broncos Drop First Match In 5-2 Loss At Valparaiso

VALPARAISO, Ind. -- The Western Michigan men's tennis team dropped its first match of the dual season against Valpo Sunday afternoon on the road. The Crusaders topped the Broncos 5-2 to drop WMU to 4-1 this season while the Crusaders improved to 2-2.  Full Story...

Broncos Remain Undefeated With 6-1 Win Over Green Bay

KALAMAZOO, Mich- The Western Michigan men’s tennis team defeated Green Bay 6-1 at West Hills Athletic Club to remain undefeated in dual matches. The Broncos are 4-0 on the year and have not dropped the doubles point to an opponent this season.  Senior Ruben Greiner, freshman Matej Svejtlicic, junior Matt Hamilton and junior Daniel Loebel remain undefeated in singles play during the dual match season and have a combined record of 10-0.  Full Story...
