Men's Tennis Defeats EIU 6-1 In Season Opener
MUNCIE, Ind. - The Ball State men's tennis team (1-0) opened its 2016 spring season with a 6-1 win over Eastern Illinois (0-1) Sunday afternoon at the Muncie YMCA Tennis Center. It marks the third straight season the Cardinals have opened spring play with a victory.

Men's Tennis Defeats Bryant, 5-2
HANOVER, NH - UB men's tennis wrapped up their first weekend of the 2016 Spring season with win over defending NEC champions Bryant, 5-2. The match was played at Dartmouth University a day after nationally ranked Dartmouth beat both teams. On the day the Bulls won two doubles matches and four singles matches.

Buffalo Men's Tennis Battles Hard, Falls to No. 42 Dartmouth, 6-1
HANOVER, NH- The UB men's tennis team opened their 2016 Spring season on the road against No. 42 Dartmouth. Overall it the matches were filled with back and forth action, but the Bulls drop their first match of 2016, 6-1.

Rockets Drop First Winter Match To Purdue
West Lafayette, IN – Toledo men's tennis dropped a 7-0 battle against Big Ten's Purdue in West Lafayette, IN on Saturday evening. The Rockets fall to 0-1 on the season, while the Boilermakers improve to 2-0. The Rocket pair of Serjen Olmedo and Luka Vitosevic defeated Purdue's Lucas Dages and Mateus Silva 5-3 in the No. 3 doubles spot.

Rockets Suffer 6-1 Setback to Michigan State
East Lansing, MI – Toledo men's tennis was defeated 6-1 by the Michigan State Spartans on Monday afternoon in East Lansing. The Rockets drop to 0-2 on the season, while MSU improves to a record of 1-1. The only Rocket victory came from one of the six Toledo freshmen. Luka Vitosevic defeated Mac Roy 6-7, 6-4, 10-4 at No. 2 singles. Freshmen Vince Anzalone, Serjen Olmedo and Juan Carranza were all defeated in tie-breaking sets. Anzalone lost 6-7, 3-6 at the No. 3 spot, Olmedo lost 2-6, 6-7 at No. 5 and Carranza fell 6-7, 3-6 in the No. 6 slot.

Western Michigan:
Men's Tennis Opens Spring Season with a 6-1 win over Illinois-Chicago
KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Western Michigan men's tennis team opened the spring season with a victory over nonconference opponent Illinois-Chicago 6-1 at West Hills Athletic Cub on Monday afternoon. WMU improved to 23-0 all-time against the Flames and the Broncos moved to 1-0 this season. The Broncos duo of Stephen Payne and Jimmy Beckwith downed the Flames' Nate Campanile and Max Cederkall 6-0 at No. 1 doubles to improve to 5-0 this season. Ruben Greiner and Daniel Loebel secured the doubles point for WMU at No. 2 doubles with a 7-5 (7-5) win over Cal Hedstrom and Marcelo Dib. Matt Hamilton and Maik Steiner earned a win in No. 1 singles to improve to 13-3 together this season.
