Buffalo opened MAC play last week with a 35-27 win over Miami at UB Stadium and have posted a 3-2 overall record this season.  Buffalo is led by fifth-year head coach Jeff Quinn, who has a 20-34 record in leading the program in Western New York.  In the win over Miami, Buffalo running back Anthone Taylor rushed for a career-high 222 yards, the seventh best single-game effort in school history, and three touchdowns.

Also, Bulls junior quarterback Joe Licata threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns in the win and reached two career milestones.  Licata has surpassed 5,000 career passing yards, and his two touchdowns place him second all-time in school history with 45 career touchdown passes.

Last season, Quinn led the Bulls to an 8-5 overall record and the program's second bowl appearance with an invitation to the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl and witnessed former linebacker Khalil Mack become the highest Buffalo student athlete selected in the NFL Draft.  Mack was the fifth overall selection by the Oakland Raiders in the 2014 NFL Draft.
