SportsTime Ohio Announces 2010 MAC Football Coverage

CLEVELAND, OH - SportsTime Ohio today announced its 2010 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Football coverage. STO has a new agreement with the MAC to provide expanded coverage of football, men's and women's basketball, and more.

SportsTime Ohio will produce a one-hour MAC Football Preview Show on Monday August 30th at 11:00pm. STO's Matt Underwood and Frank Stams will take an in-depth look at each of the schools in the Conference. Plus the show will introduce the new Head Coaches at Akron, Buffalo and Central Michigan as STO visited their campuses over the summer and had the unique opportunity to have each coach wear a microphone during a training camp practice.

The MAC Football Preview Show will also be available on other networks throughout the Midwest. Please check your local listings for times and availability.

New to the schedule this year is a weekly show featuring the University of Buffalo - Bullseye: Inside UB Athletics debuting on SportsTime Ohio Friday August 27th at 5:00pm. The show will profile each of UB's athletic teams and features Coach Jeff Quinn during football season.

Another addition is Western Michigan University's Bronco Review with Head Coach Bill Cubit and the voice of the Broncos, Robin Hook. Plus Ohio University's Bobcat Blitz returns for its 4th season on STO.

In addition to the football coaches shows, STO will televise six (6) live football games. Matt Underwood will provide play-by-play with former Notre Dame All-American Frank Stams providing color commentary and Allie LaForce on the sidelines. The majority of the games will be available in High Definition. The MAC Football schedule on STO includes:

MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE
Founded in 1946, the Mid-American Conference is an NCAA Division I, 12-member conference that sponsors 23 championships and is one of 11 members of the Football Bowl Subdivison (FBS). With total enrollment of nearly 300,000 students, the league represents institutions of higher learning in six (6) states - Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, and Ohio. In addition a 13th school - Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. -- is an affiliate member for football only.
