Getting To Know: Ohio's Noah Keller
Noah Keller is a junior linebacker for the Ohio Bobcats. Get to know some fun facts about the 2008 All-MAC second team selection by reading below.

1. Why did you choose Ohio University?

Ohio did a great job recruiting me. They were just coming off a 9-5 season in which they played in the MAC championship game and the GMAC bowl.I felt like it was the right fit for me.

 

2. What do you consider your greatest accomplishment so far as an athlete?

Last year, I was honored to receive All-MAC second team honors on defense.

 

3. What is your greatest accomplishment off the field?

I take pride in being on the Athletic Honor Roll in a difficult pre-med major.

 

4. What is the best advice you have received from Coach Solich?

Don't stand there and wait to make the tackle. Go get a tackle for loss.

 

5. Do you have higher expectations going into this season than last?

This year's team returns lots of weapons so I, as well as everyone else on the team, expect much improved play as compared to 2008.

 

6. How did you get started playing Football?

I played flag football from fourth grade to seventh grade before playing tackle football. I always excelled, so I stuck with it.

 

7. What is your favorite beverage/food/dessert?

The beverage would be Yoohoo. For food, I'm going to go Chicken Fried Steak. For the dessert, I'll say Dairy Queen chocolate shake.

 

8. If you can have one animal be extinct, which would it be?

It would definitely be spiders.

 

9. What were you up to this summer?

I'm taking summer classes, studying, working out and trying not to die of boredom.

 

10. What is your greatest fear?

My greatest fear is spiders and people grabbing/pinching/squeezing my Achilles Tendon.

 

11. What would your superhero name be?

It would definitely be the Russ Eisenstein-appointed "Kearney Commando".

 

12. Which three people (dead or alive) would you invite to dinner?

I'd say Martin Luther King Jr., Will Ferrell and Jesus.

 

13. What is the best class you've taken at Ohio?

I enjoyed my genetics class a lot, but the most fun class I have taken is History of Rock.

 

14. What's the best part of being a Division I athlete?

Definitely, it's being a role model to kids and having people recognize and idolize you.

 

15. What was your first job? ... what was your worst job?

I worked at a Mexican restaurant, Amigos. My worst job was working for a moving company; long days and hard work but it did pay well.

 

16. What is something people don't know about you?

Of all the people I know, I am the best at solving Sudoku puzzles.

 

17. Who was your greatest athletic influence?

My former head football coach Brandon Cool really helped put me in the right direction and helped make me the student-athlete I am today.

 

18. What actor/actress would play you in the movie of your life? Why?

Bradley Cooper. I think he could do a good job of playing my sarcasm and portray my personality while showing that deep down I am a good person.

 

19. What is your favorite holiday?

I enjoy Christmas the most because that's when all of my family is able to get together.

 

20. If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?

I would come back as Tiger Woods.
