Harold Anderson, Bowling Green (Men's Basketball)

Harold Anderson won 504 basketball games in his 29-year coaching career at Toledo and Bowling Green.  Anderson spent his final 21 seasons at the helm of Bowling Green, where his teams compiled a 362-185 record from 1942-63.  His teams won three MAC championships, and he took six teams to the NIT in New York.  Anderson coached 11 All-America players who all went on to play in the NBA. 

Anderson came to Bowling Green after compiling a 142-41 record at Toledo from 1934-42.  He was inducted into the National Basketball Hall of Fame in 1985.  Upon his retirement from coaching, Anderson continued to serve Bowling Green State University as its athletic director.
