Dave Jamerson - Ohio (Men's Basketball)
Dave Jamerson remains the all-time leading scorer in Ohio men’s basketball history with 2,336 career points and is widely regarded as one of the most prolific scorers in Mid-American Conference history. The 1990 MAC Player of the Year, Jamerson averaged 31.2 points per game that season, leading the conference in scoring and three-point field goals while ranking third nationally in scoring. He set numerous program records, including career marks for points, field goals made and field goal attempts, while also holding multiple single-season records. Jamerson delivered some of the most memorable performances in Bobcat history, including a 60-point game against the University of Charleston in 1989. A team captain in both 1989 and 1990, Jamerson earned Academic All-MAC honors twice and was named a First Team Academic All-American in 1990. He was selected in the first round of the 1990 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat and later had his No. 33 jersey retired by Ohio University.
