CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference has released its awaited 2026 volleyball conference schedule. The eight-at-home-and-one-on-the-road schedule will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and conclude on Saturday, Nov. 14, ahead of the conference tournament.
 
The schedule format protects opponents by geographic location and rivalries, with each team playing 16 matches in total.
 
Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan will kick off the conference slate in Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Kent State and Akron will kick off conference play with a rivalry game in Kent, Ohio, on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Miami will face Bowling Green in the Stroh Center on Thursday, Sept. 24, and the rest of the league will take the court on Friday, Sept. 25.
 
The volleyball regular season will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 14, with the top six teams in the conference moving on to the postseason for the MAC Volleyball Tournament. Ball State claimed the 2025 Regular Season title and will be the host for the 2026 MAC Volleyball Championship on Nov. 20-22 at Worthen Arena in Muncie, Ind.
