INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –
The NCAA revealed the regional field for the 2025 women's golf championship on Wednesday, with Kent State being selected to compete in the Columbus Regional at OSU Golf Club. The Columbus Regional is set for Monday, May 5, through Wednesday, May 7, where the Flashes will look to continue a historic season.

The Flashes are fresh from winning the program's 26th consecutive MAC Championship this week in Muncie. The team won by a dominant 28 strokes, placing all five golfers in the top eight of the individual standings. The Kent State freshman trio of Aryn MatthewsGracie Larsen, and Isabella Goyette each posted their best finishes of the season in their MAC Championship debut, each finishing tied for second at 3-over-par.

The Columbus Regional will not be the first time the Flashes have competed at the OSU Golf Club Scarlet Course. The team competed in the Therse Hession Buckeye Invitational on April 12 and 13, placing third among the 13 teams competing. Four Flashes posted top-15 finishes in the event, led by a runner-up finish from Veronika Kedronova, who posted an impressive 5-under-par. Leon Takagi earned her best finish of the season on the Scarlet Course, tying for seventh place at 4-over-par.

The Flashes are seeking the team's first NCAA Championship appearance since 2021, when the team finished tied for fifth in the Columbus Regional, which was also hosted at OSU Golf Club. Kent State has advanced past the regional round eight times in program history.

After earning medalist honors at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Women's Golf Championships, junior Jasmine Driscoll learned her NCAA Regional fate Wednesday (April 23) afternoon with the NCAA Selection Show on the Golf Network.

The MAC individual champion will continue her season May 5-7 on the Champion Trace at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky, in the NCAA Lexington Regional.

Driscoll is set to become only the third player in program history to compete in NCAA Regional competition, joining Brittany Kelly in 2011 and Jenna Hague in 2014.

Just the third MAC medalist in program history, Driscoll started her championship run with a career-low score of -5 (67) on Eastern Sunday. The effort tied as the lowest opening round in a MAC Women's Golf Championship in program history and ties as the second-lowest round relative to par in program history.

Driscoll would follow with a +5 (77) in Monday's blustery second round, while closing the tournament with a +2 (74) to seal the individual title by one stroke at +2 (218). The effort, which also earned her MAC All-Tournament Team honors, is the lowest three-round total in a MAC Women's Golf Championship in program history.

In addition to her solid performance in her latest outing, Driscoll has played phenomenal golf all season for the Cardinals and leads the squad with a 75.00 stroke average. She has played nine rounds at-or-below par this season and earned medalist honors at the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic (Sept. 16-17).

Driscoll was named the MAC Women's Golfer of the Week for her play at the 2024 Brittany Kelly Classic in which she won by five strokes: the largest margin of victory in the three-year history of the event. After shooting E (72) in the opening round, Dricsoll tied the then-lowest round of her collegiate career at -4 (68) in the second. She closed the event with a -1 (71), with her 54-hole final score of -5 (211) being the best of her collegiate career.

In addition to her 2024-25 season accolades, Driscoll is currently the program's career scoring leader 75.93 career stroke average. She has played 17 collegiate rounds at-or-below par and owns four career top five finishes including her pair of event wins this season.

For the first time in program history, a member of the Eastern Michigan University women's golf program will compete in the NCAA Regional Tournament as Savannah de Bock was selected as an individual qualifier for the Columbus Regional, the NCAA announced, April 23. The tournament, one of six to be played around the nation, will be held May 5-7 at the Ohio State University Golf Club - Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio.

"It is exciting that Savannah has qualified for the NCAA Regional," Head Coach Josh Brewer said. "She has had a good year since our first event in Washington. She deserves this selection as she came to Eastern Michigan to build a legacy and create a winning culture. It is a major step for us as we build a program of competing and winning in the postseason."

"I am very excited about being selected for the tournament," de Bock said. "I was not expecting to be selected, but I am grateful I was because I am ready to get out there and compete. To be the first EMU player in the regional tournament is amazing, honestly. I want to go out there and make everyone proud and do the best I can for myself and for Eastern Michigan."

The selection to the regional tournament adds to the historic season de Bock (Ecaussinnes-d'enghien, Belgium/Institut de l'Enfant-Jésus-Lycée/Georgia) had already compiled. Named to the 2024 ANNIKA Award Fall Watch List, the sophomore has rewritten the record books at EMU with four 54-hole tournament scores that broke or tied the previous school record and six of the top eight scores ever recorded by an EMU player. Entering the year, the record was 211, which was shot by current graduate assistant Anna Watson. After shooting 214 at the season-opening Leadership and Golf Invitational (Sept. 16-17) in Washington, de Bock went to work and fired a 204 to win the Golfweek Red Sky Classic (Sept. 23-25), beating the previous school record by seven strokes. She also shot scores of 209, 210, and 211 this year while adding scores of 213 and 218.

Coming off a tie for 11th place at the 2025 Mid-American Conference Championships that were held April 20-22 at Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Ind., as she finished the three-day tournament at 11-over 227 (73-78-76), de Bock helped the Eagles to a third-place finish as a team, its best finish since taking second in 2015, while seeing EMU to a team score of 906, the second-lowest in program history and a 66-shot improvement over the 972 shot at the 2024 MAC Championships.

Heading into the Columbus Regional, de Bock, who is currently ranked No. 163 in the NCAA rankings, holds a season stroke average of 72.9, which is the lowest in program history, surpassing the record of 74.7 set by Kelsey Murphy in 2015-16.
