Stewart recorded two doubles on the week, including one double in the Huskies season-best 5 doubles on April 12. Stewart accounted for 2 of the RBIs in the record-breaking game for NIU as she went 3-of-3 at the plate in the final game against Buffalo. All of Stewarts games featured multiple hits as she recorded her fourth straight game with a hit.

MAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Morgan Beckham, Freshman, RHP, Bowling Green
Middleburg, Fla. (Middleburg)
Falcon freshman Morgan Beckham had a tremendous week in the circle, with an ERA of 0.00 in 7 2/3 innings and an opponent batting average of just .038. Beckham pitched in all three of BGSU’s games. She got the final two outs of Friday’s game vs. Western Michigan, both via strikeout. Then, in Saturday’s opener, she threw the first complete-game shutout of her young collegiate career as BG posted a run-rule win. Beckham faced just two batters over the minimum in that victory. Then, later that day, Beckham entered the circle with runners on second and third and no outs in the sixth inning. She walked the first batter she faced, then proceeded to get out of that bases-loaded, no-outs jam by getting three-straight outs. In fact, after issuing the walk, Beckham retired six-straight Broncos to lock down the win. She allowed just one hit on the week, and lowered her season ERA by nearly a full run.
