MAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week

Chelby Koker averaged 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game this week as NIU went 1-1 against Kent State and Bowling Green. She started the week with 13 points, three rebounds and four assists at Kent State. On Saturday, Koker scored a season-high 28 points as NIU defeated Bowling Green 84-77 in double overtime. Koker scored 23 points in the second half and both overtimes, including the game-tying putback to beat the fourth quarter buzzer to send the game to OT. She shot 41.9 percent from the field and 87.5 percent from the free throw line in the two games this week.
