MAC Women’s Basketball Players of the Week

Alex Richard turned in two 20-point performances this week as the Mid-American Conference regular season came to an end. On Wednesday, Richard led the Cardinals with 20 points and seven rebounds to help Ball State claim its first MAC Regular season title in 22 years. Richard also had a standout performance Saturday against the Ohio Bobcats as she led BSU once again in scoring with 25 points. Richard pulled down 10 rebounds for a double-double while shooting 73 percent from the field (11-15). For the week, Richard averaged 22.5 points per game while pulling down 8.5 rebounds. She shot 63 percent from the field and 70 percent from the charity stripe.
