MAC Softball Player of the Week
Kaylee Oh, Sophomore, Infield/Outfield, Miami

Kaylee Oh led the RedHawk offense this weekend in hits (7), RBI (5), total bases (11), and sacs (2). She additionally leads the team so far this season in batting average (.438), hits (14), on base percentage (.471), and slugging percentage (.594). On Friday when Miami defeated App State 9-6 in 11 innings, Oh went 2-for-5 with two RBI. In Miami's 7-0 shutout win on Sunday over Winthrop, Oh went 1-for-2 at the plate, had an RBI and stole two bases. As of Sunday's game, the sophomore is on a three-game hitting streak. On the weekend she went 7-for-15.
MAC Softball Pitcher of the Week
Macy Walters, Sophomore, RHP, Akron

Sophomore Macy Walters had a great weekend in the circle for the Zips. She started and went the distance in a pair of games which both led to wins for Akron and had a save in the Zips final outing. She posted a 1.95 ERA in 14.1 innings pitched. Walters allowed 11 hits and four runs all earned. She struck out four batters. Walters earned wins over South Dakota State 2-1 and Tarleton State 7-3. Walters earned the save in a 9-8 win over Tarleton State. Opponents only hit .224 average.
