Ohio Swim and Dive Concludes Day One at Ohio State Winter Invite

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio swim and dive team returned to action for one final tune-up before the Mid-American Conference Championships on Friday (Feb. 14), competing in the first day of the 2025 Ohio State Winter Invitational inside McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. 

In the 200-yard IM, sophomore Emma Forbes (Littleton, Colo.) placed fourth with a time of 2:08.27, while freshman AnnaLiess Stith finished fifth with a time of 2:09.30. 

Then in the 50 free, sophomore Emma Lykins (Lexington, Ky.) finished 11th, touching in with a time of 24.51, while sophomore Elizabeth Bawolek (South Elgin, Ill.) finished 13th with a time of 25.12. 

The Bobcats are back in action for day two of the Ohio State Winter Invite on Saturday, Feb. 15. Prelims are set to begin at 11 a.m. ET, with finals scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. ET.
