Swimmer of the Week
Madeline Padavic, Senior, MiamiĀ

Madeline Padavic had a phenomenal weekend to close out the regular season, posting two first-place relay finishes and breaking a team, pool, and conference record in a time trial. Padavic started her weekend out with the 200-yard freestyle relay, where she put up an individual time of 22.23 in her leg. Up next was the 200-yard medley relay where Padavic posted a time of 24.20 swimming the backstroke leg. At the end of day two, Padavic earned a time of 51.33 for the 100-yard backstroke, where she broke her school record, the pool record, and the Mid American Conference (MAC) record.

Diver of the Week
Natalia Mayorga, Sophomore, Bowling GreenĀ

Natalia Mayorga had a clean sweep of all three diving events at the Miami Classic. Despite not coming in first in any prelim events, Mayorga battled back and won the 1-and 3-meter diving events in a competitive field with Ball State, Miami, and Cincinnati divers. On the final day of competition, she won the platform event, which she competed in for the first time this season. Her mark of 234.08 gave her an NCAA Diving Zone Cut, which is believed to be the first platform zone cut in program history. Earlier in the season, Mayorga also earned zone cuts in both the 1-and 3-meter events.
