Eastern Michigan junior Carson McCoy clocked the MAC's best 800m time this season, crossing the line in a personal-best 1:50.28 for a fifth place finish at the Michigan Invitational. McCoy's time nearly broke into the MEU program top 10 leaderboards, as he was just .26 seconds away from tying for the 10th fastest indoor time in program history.

Akron redshirt senior Hunter Garretson registered a career-best mark of 18-10.75 (5.76m) to win the elite pole vault at the Doc Hale Invitational. His effort stands as the No. 2 mark in the NCAA this season and top-rated clearance in the MAC this year.

Akron sophomore AJ Jordan bested the field in the men’s 200 meters at the Akron Invitational in a time of 21.49. He also ran the third leg of the winning 4x400 relay that posted the best time of the year in the MAC crossing the line in 3:13.00. Additionally, crossed the line in 6.83 in the 60 meters to place second.

Results: Heptathlon, 1st place | 5155 points | #1 MAC, #3 NCAA Northeast Region
Kevin won the heptathlon in a new Personal best mark of 5155 points. He set individual event personal best marks in the 60m, SP and PV. He ranks #1 in the MAC and #3 in the NCAA Northeast Region. His mark moves him to #5 All-Time for UB.

Liam Vinskovich recorded a season-best mark of 2.08m (6’-9.75) to win the high jump at the Jud Logan Light Giver Open. Vinskovich ranks second in the MAC and 80th nationally.

Eastern Michigan freshman Lucky Fiaku placed second in both the high jump and triple jump at the Michigan Invitational. Fiaku leaped 2.06m (6-09) for silver in the high jump, and a personal-best 13.98m (45-10.50) in the triple jump. After the meet, Fiaku is up to six second-place finishes this season.
