2025 MAC Cross Country Championships Set for Saturday in Buffalo

AMHERST, NY - The 2025 Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships are set for Saturday, November 1, as the University at Buffalo hosts this year’s event at the Audubon Golf Course. The men’s 8K race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET, followed by the women’s 6K at 12 p.m. ET. Fans can find course maps, live results, and more on the MAC Cross Country Championship Central Page.

A total of 10 men’s teams and 13 women’s teams will compete for the conference crown, with individual and team titles on the line in Buffalo. Both races can be seen live via YouTube

On the men’s side, Toledo captured the 2024 MAC Men's Cross Country Championship, their first in program history. UT's Dominic Serem took the 8K race title with a final mark of 23:20.28, becoming just the second-ever individual champion from Toledo after teammate Dennis Mutai won the conference individual title in 2023.

In the women’s race, Toledo looks to defend its 2024 championship after capturing the five of the top 14 positions last year. Last year's team title was the 10th MAC title for the Rockets, tying Ohio for the most league crowns in Conference history, and marked the first time that the Rockets have won four consecutive conference titles.
