Miami Picked to Be the 2025 MAC Women’s Tennis Champions in Preseason Coaches Poll

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference Women’s Tennis Head Coaches have submitted their votes for the 2025 season. The Miami RedHawks were selected to take the 2025 MAC Regular Season title this year, receiving 48 team points and six first-place votes.

Defending MAC Champion Toledo followed behind the RedHawks, receiving 38 points and one first-place votes. Eastern Michigan is predicted to be third with 35 points, followed by Northern Illinois with 30 pts., Ball State with 25 pts, and Buffalo receiving 23 pts. along with the final first-place vote. Western Michigan collected 14 pts. and BGSU rounded out the conference with 7 pts.

The RedHawks are also projected to take the 2025 MAC Tournament crown with five votes, while Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Toledo all received one vote.

The MAC women's tennis season officially begins this weekend. The season will culminate with the MAC Women's Tennis Championship, hosted by the University of Toledo on April 24-25 in Toledo, Ohio.
