East Division Wrestler of the Week
Joey Lyons, Cleveland State, Senior, 197 lbs. 
Cleveland State swept its doubleheader on Friday evening as Joey Lyons went 2-0 at 197-pounds. He started the night with an 8-1 decision over Mason Rebuck of Bloomsburg and capped off the night with a 7-4 decision against Ethan Wiant of Clarion. On the year, Lyons is 8-10 overall and 4-3 in dual matches.


West Division Wrestler of the Week
Alex Cramer, Central Michigan, Graduate Student, 174 lbs.
Central Michigan’s Alex Cramer went a perfect 3-0, scoring bonus points in all three of his matches, in the Chippewa Challenge at American University in Washington, D.C. Cramer, a graduate student, posted a technical fall and two major decision victories in running his win streak to nine matches and improving to 18-3 on the season. Cramer, the two-time defending MAC champion at 174 who is ranked No. 1 in the conference, outscored his three opponents by a combined 43-6. His third tournament win, a 15-0 tech fall over Chris Neal of Cal State Bakersfield, was the 99th of his career. With his next victory, Cramer will become the 28th wrestler in CMU history to join the program’s 100-Win Club.
