ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's basketball team (11-8, 5-2 MAC) are back in Action on Tuesday, Jan. 28 when Ohio hosts Toledo (11-8, 5-2 MAC). Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. inside the Convocation Center. The game can be seen on ESPN2.
Ohio is currently 11-8 overall and 5-2 in MAC play after defeating Kent State, 61-59, Friday night in the Convo. Ohio is averaging 80.3 points per game, while shooting .473 from the field, .353 from three and .751 from the line, while opponents are averaging 75.1 points per game, while shooting .449 from the field, .384 from three and .670 from the line. 
Ohio is averaging 34.2 rebounds, 15.0 assists, 3.7 blocks and 7.8 steals per game, while forcing 13.9 turnovers a contest. Meanwhile, opponents are averaging 35.5 rebounds, 13.7 assists, 2.9 blocks and 7.2 steals per game, while forcing Ohio to turn the ball over 11.9 times a game.
Individually, AJ Brown averages 11.9 points a game, while shooting .458 from the field, .395 from three and .867 from the line, while Jackson Paveletzke adds 12.8 points, 5.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game. Shereef Mitchell adds 10.8 points, while shooting .484 from the field, while Elmore James averages 8.0 points, while shooting .857 from the line.
Toledo is currently tied for third place in the Mid-American Conference standings with Ohio (11-8, 5-2 MAC), two games behind Akron (14-5, 7-0) and one behind Miami (14-5, 6-1).
Isaiah Adams and Sonny Wilson each scored a game-high 18 points and the four-time defending MAC champion Rockets knocked down 12 three-point field goals in Friday's 84-71 victory over arch-rival Bowling Green. Also scoring in double digits for Toledo were Sam Lewis (14 pts.) and Bryce Ford (12 pts.). Ford topped UT's perimeter assault with four triples, while Lewis buried a trio of threes. Javan Simmons nearly recorded a double-double, finishing with eight points and a team-high nine rebounds. Simmons' work on the glass helped UT to a 37-30 rebounding advantage.
Wilson and Lewis are leading Toledo with 15.3 and 14.3 ppg, respectively. Simmons is averaging 12.3 and a team-high 5.9 rpg, while Adams is checking in at 10.8 ppg. In addition, Ford and Lewis are at the top of the MAC in 3PTFG% with 46.8 and 44.4 marks, respectively.
