Madelyn Gatrall, Redshirt-Senior, Akron
Madelyn Gatrall claimed gold in four events as the Akron Zips took down the Buffalo Bulls on the road Saturday, 181-118. The Zips claimed gold in 11 of the 16 events against the Bulls. Gatrall was a part of two relay teams that finished first. Leading off the 200-y Medley Relay team, the Zips finished with a time of 1:42.19. Madelyn also led off the 200-y Free Relay squad that finished with a time of 1:33.32. She also claimed gold in the 100-y Back (54.68) and 200-y Back (2:01.26).
 
Diver of the Week
Marialis Kwak, Senior, Buffalo
Marialis Kwak had another strong weekend in the diving well as the Bulls hosted the defending MAC Champion Zips. The senior won both the one-meter (294.45 ) and the three-meter (341.03) against Akron. Kwak has now won all 13 individual diving competitions she’s competed in this season.
