Swimmer of the Week
Rosie Richards, Freshman, Toledo
Freshman Rosie Richards took home four first-place finishes in her individual events in a two-meet weekend against Marshall (Jan. 10) and conference opponent Miami (Jan. 11). Richards placed first in the 1000 freestyle (10:35.06) and the 500 free (5:10.72) over Marshall and won the 200 freestyle (1:54.48) and the 500 freestyle (5:11.19) against Miami. Richards was also a member of the second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:36.47) against Marshall and helped take first in the 400 freestyle relay (3:30.95) vs. Miami.

Diver of the Week
Marialis Kwak, Senior, Buffalo
With three MAC schools in attendance, Marialis Kwak won all three individual diving events at the annual UB Diving Invite. Kwak opened the weekend on Friday with a win in the three-meter finals, posting a school-record score of 363.05. The senior also took first place in the event's preliminary round (298.5) in the field of 30 divers. Kwak doubled back on Saturday to win the one-meter finals with a score of 286.50, earning a first-place finish in the preliminary round (302.05). The senior was a member of the Bulls’ team diving trio that took first place on Saturday too with a score of 255.80. Kwak then closed out the weekend of competition on Sunday with a win in platform diving, taking first place with a score of 236.50. Kwak’s platform diving score qualifies her for the NCAA Tower Zone Diving Championships this spring. The senior has won every diving competition she has competed in this season.
