Akron sophomore Braylyn Farrington turned in the fastest time 400M time in the MAC this past week crossing the line in 48.63 at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite. Additionally, he helped the Zips posted the fastest 4x400 relay effort of the season at No. 37 mark in the NCAA this spring in a time of 3:14.44.

Event: East Coast Pole Vault Convention
Results: Pole Vault – 1st - 18-0.50 (5.50m) -- 1/3
Akron redshirt senior captured the elite men's pole vault title at the East Coast Pole Vault Convention on Friday with a season-best clearance of 18-0.50 (5.50m). His effort stands as the No. 3 mark in the NCAA this season.

Event: Wolverine Invitational
Eastern Michigan University junior Carson McCoy ran to a second-place finish in the 600-meter dash in 1:19.25 at the Wolverine Invite, hosted by Michigan, Jan. 11. His time stands as the ninth-fastest 600-meter in program history and a personal-best.

Event: Wolverine Invitational
Eastern Michigan University senior Formula Thompson posted the conference's best triple jump performance of the season with a 15.07-meters (49-05.50) mark at the Wolverine Invitational, hosted by Michigan, Jan. 11. His mark stands as the best in the conference by over one full meter as the second-best jump belongs to Buffalo's Micah Blair at 14.01-meters (45-11.75).
