CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference saw seven women’s tennis teams and 43 student-athletes earn academic recognition from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) in the announcement of the 2024 Division I Women’s ITA Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Teams.
To be named an ITA Scholar Athlete, a student-athlete must have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the current academic year. To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, the team GPA must be a 3.20 or higher for the current academic year.
Toledo and Western Michigan both had eight members of its 2023-24 roster earn the academic honor, followed by Buffalo and Northern Illinois with seven student-athletes each.
