KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- After a record-setting season on the pitch, Western Michigan graduate student forward Jen Blitchok was named an All-American by Top Drawer Soccer. Blitchok is the first All-American in program history, earning Third Team honors.

She was one of nine forwards honored by Top Drawer Soccer as an All-American this season. The Grandville, Mich. native proved herself as the best player in program history, rewriting the record book this season. She finished the 2024 campaign with an NCAA leading 47 points on 18 goals and 11 assists. Blitchok is now the program's single-season record holder for points and goals, beating the old marks of 27 and 12.

Even more impressive, the veteran forward broke some career program records despite being in Kalamazoo for just two seasons. Over her two-year WMU career, she posted 71 points on 27 goals and 17 assists. She ends her impressive career as the program's points leader, while being No. 2 all-time in goals scored.

Blitchok was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 and is a two-time All-MAC First Team honoree. Along with that, she is a a two-time Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week selection and was named the TDS National Player of the Week on Oct. 29, 2024.

Blitchok's great season helped WMU to its second consecutive MAC Regular Season championship. WMU became the first program in MAC history to go undefeated in back-to-back conference seasons. The Broncos also went on to win the MAC Tournament, including a 5-0 victory over Buffalo in the title game. That led to the Brown and Gold's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2015.

Along with her prowess on the field, Blitchok is also a terrific student. She has been a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American two years in a row. She is the only player in program history to achieve the feat twice. Furthermore, she is just the second player in program history to receive first team honors. She holds a 4.00 in her pursuit of a Masters of Business Administration.
