King led WMU in kills in both of its matches, totaling 17 against Milwaukee and a match-high 16 in the win over Butler ... Hit .419 against Butler, helping Western hit a season-best .349 as a team ... Six of her kills against Butler came in the first set as WMU hit .500 in the frame ... Also had 16 digs (2.00/set), including coming one shy of a double-double against Butler.

Boyle totaled 36 digs (4.50/set) for WMU over the weekend ... Posted 20 digs against Milwaukee, her third straight contest with 20 or more digs ... Followed that up with a match-high 16 in the win over Butler ... Successfully received 92.8% (52-56) opponent serves over the two matches.
MAC West Division Setter of the Week
Logan Case, Western Michigan, Setter
Case handed out 96 assists (12.00/set) for WMU over the weekend ... Posted 60 assists against Milwaukee and another 36 at Butler, helping the Broncos to a season-best .359 hitting percentage in the win over the Bulldogs ... Also posted double-digit digs in both matches to collect her fifth and sixth double-doubles of the season, a team high.

Emma Gielas, Buffalo, Right Side
Gielas was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Quest for the Crown this past weekend. Gielas averaged 3.83 kills per set and hit .372 over the 12 sets. Beginning on Friday, Gielas had 17 kills and hit .382 in the win over Norfolk State and then Friday night she added 14 kills and just two errors as she hit .400. Gielas finished the weekend on Saturday morning with 15 kills in the win over Radford, hitting .333.
MAC East Division Defensive Player of the Week
Maria Futey, Buffalo, Outside Hitter
Futey paced the Buffalo defense as the outside hitter had 46 digs on the weekend, averaging 3.83 per set. She began the weekend setting a career high with 19 digs in UB's win over Norfolk State, notching just under 5..00 digs per set against the Spartans. She then finished just one shy of her career high in Buffalo's other win this weekend, adding 18 digs against Radford. Futey also had nine against Old Dominion. In addition, Futey added a pair of blocks against the Monarchs.
MAC West Division Setter of the Week
Mandy Leigh, Buffalo, Setter
Leigh had another outstanding weekend for the Bulls as she averaged 12.58 assists per set, leading the Bulls to a 2-1 record. Overall, Leigh had 151 assists, to go along with 10 kills, three aces, and 41 digs. Leigh's best match came against Radford, where she had 58 assists in the four set win. The 58 assists were just two shy of the school record for assists in a four-set match. Leigh began the weekend with 48 assists in the win over Norfolk State and added 45 assists against Old Dominion. Leigh had at least three kills in all three matches and reached double figures in digs in all three as well, including 16 against Norfolk State.
