University of Akron sophomore golfer Jennifer David (Hudson, Ohio) earned medalist honors en route to leading the Akron golf program to its first win of the 2021-22 season. David fired back-to-back 1-over par 73 scores at the 15-team Roseann Schwartz Invitational hosted by Youngstown State at Mill Creek Golf Course. She finished the 36-hole event in a three-way tie with 146 (+2) tournament total, which included 23 par scores and six birdies. She ranked second overall in par-4 scoring with a 4.05 (+1) total and finished 13th in par-3 scoring (3.25, +2). David won a playoff to claim medalist honors as teammate Abbie Pearce and YSU’s Danae Rugola also posted 2-over par 146 scores.

Price was the top individual finisher at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor. Price played a tough course at +8 over the three rounds, never shooting worse than a 75 on the par-71 course. Price was amongst the field's best in par-3 scoring (+2) and par-4 scoring (+4) and ranked fifth in pars over the three rounds with 38.
