MAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Jenna Blackburn, Western Michigan, Forward

Blackburn got off to a hot start to help the Broncos split their opening weekend. She netted her first collegiate goal to cut WMU's deficit in half in the first half against Louisville, sending the Broncos to halftime down just 2-1. She then netted her second goal in the second half to cut the Cardinal's lead to 4-2. In Sunday's 5-1 win against Detroit Mercy she helped put the game out of reach by extending WMU's lead to 3-1. Blackburn was extremely efficient in WMU's opening weekend, scoring on three of her four shots on goal.
MAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week
Emma Boutorwick, Toledo, Goalkeeper
Sophomore, Macomb, Mich. (Henry Ford II)
Playing all 220 minutes of competition for Toledo, sophomore goalkeeper Emma Boutorwick allowed just one goal while logging eight saves. Boutorwick secured her second career shutout on Thursday (Aug. 19) against Purdue Fort Wayne in a 0-0 tie. As for Sunday (Aug. 22) she held Cincinnati to just a single goal for a 1-1 tie, moving Toledo's record to 0-0-2 to begin the season.
