CLEVELAND, Ohio – Bowling Green & Central Michigan have been selected to win their respective divisions in the 2021 MAC Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll. The Falcons were a unanimous selection to win the East Division's regular-season crown, and they also received 10 of a possible 12 votes to win the conference tournament. The Chippewas, who last year finished tied for second place in the West Division, earned five first-place votes and 63 points from the league's 12 head coaches
In addition, fourteen of the league's top volleyball student-athletes were also selected to the preseason All-MAC teams for the East and West Divisions.
Taylor Sharrits (Akron), Petra Indrova (Bowling Green), Hanna Laube (Bowling Geen), Katelyn Meyer (Bowling Green), Milla Malik (Buffalo), Alex Haffner (Kent State) and Savannah Matthews complete the Preseason East All-MAC Team.
The Preseason West All-MAC Team includes Marie Plitt (Ball State), Lauren Gilliland (Ball State), Lisbeth Rosario-Martinez (Central Michigan), Savannah Thompson (Central Michigan), Taylor Alt (Toledo), Western Michigan (Logan Case) and Maggie King (Western Michigan).
