Flashes Lead After Two Rounds at Sycamore Hills Golf Club

FORT WAYNE, IND. - After day one of the 2021 MAC Men's Golf Championships, the Kent State Golden Flashes are leading with a team score of 612 (+36) here at par 72, 7,253-yard Sycamore Hills Golf Club. Bowling Green's Nick Hofland and Kent State's Chris Vandette are tied for the individual lead after shooting 75-75=150 (+6). 

Northern Illinois and Ball State are tied for second with a team total of 620, followed by Bowling Green (621), Miami (626), Eastern Michigan (630), Ohio (631) and Toledo (632).

The final round of the MAC Championships is set for tomorrow with tee times beginnning at 8:30 a.m. Following the championships the All-Tournament Team, Golfer of the Year, Freshman of the Year, Kermit Blosser Coach of the Year, and Earl Yestingsmeier Sportsmanship Awards will be handed out.
