Gage Schenk, an accounting major with a 4.0 GPA, pitched 8.2 dominant innings on Saturday (April 24) at Western Michigan to lead the Falcons to a critical 3-2 victory. The native of Wapakoneta yielded just two hits and two runs. The second hit and second run that he surrendered came with two outs and two strikes in the ninth, as the Broncos pulled within one with a single that bounced through the left side. One of the most productive hurlers in the conference this season, Schenk is now 3-0 in MAC play, having allowed just three earned runs over 22.2 innings.
